We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology to join a dynamic team at a well-regarded healthcare facility in Seattle. This position is full-time, with 12-hour night shifts offering opportunities to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, holistic nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs across the continuum of care.
• Monitor and document patient conditions while adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing education and support as needed.
• Advocate for patients’ rights, dignity, and beliefs to deliver ethical, whole-person care.
• Maintain safety and quality standards by aligning practice with evidence-based protocols and safety measures.
• Engage in professional development to ensure competency in oncology nursing and lead care teams effectively.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington RN License Upon Hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Upon Hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics Upon Hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg Oncology environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• National certification in oncology or related specialty.
