Job Summary:

This role requires expertise in plastics injection molding, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and mold installation. The position involves alternating alternating rotating shifts: one week 7am-3pm, the next week 3pm-11pm, and 3rd shift 11pm-7am.
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe, injury-free environment.
• Adhere to Division safety rules and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits of equipment.
• Inspect, install, and set up new molds.
• Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machines.
• Assist Engineering with process development.
• Improve efficiencies with Shift Process Technicians.
• Interpret data related to the molding process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication.
• Perform overtime as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Education: A two-year technical degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience: At least five years of hands-on practical experience in plastics injection molding, including new mold inspection, installation, and setup.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Skills:
• Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical aptitude tests.
• Proficiency in the IQMS system and basic PC literacy.
